FAQ
About synced YouTube music for D&D
Is using YouTube music for D&D allowed?
RealmCaster uses YouTube's official iframe player — the same way YouTube embeds work across the web — so playback follows YouTube's standard terms. Creators get the same play counts as if your players watched on YouTube directly.
What if a track has ads?
Tracks behave exactly as they do on YouTube. We recommend using ad-free creator channels (Tabletop Audio, Michael Ghelfi, etc.) for the smoothest cinematic experience.
Can I use Spotify or Apple Music instead?
Not at the moment — neither offers a synchronized web-player API. YouTube's iframe gives every player the same playhead position for free.
Will it work if a player's YouTube is geo-blocked?
Most fantasy music channels are available globally. If a specific track is region-locked for a player, just pick an alternate upload.
Direct your next session like a film.
Spin up a synced room in 10 seconds. Share a link or QR. Conduct music, ambience and cinematic moments live across every player.
